Expanded world of the letters, and everything going on around Remus Lupin and Sirius Black as they go through their 7 years in Hogwarts and the years after bc that’s when it gets depressing and sad. You don’t have to read MASII in order to understand this, but obviously, please read it anyway. There will be referenced events/moments in MASII that will be written in more detail in this, so if you’d like, take the time to read that beforehand.
And basically, to summarise in case u dont wanna read that paragraph:

Moon and Stars in Ink, (MASII) is a collection of letters to and from Remus Lupin and Sirius Black in their 7 years at Hogwarts.
This is totally made up, and has different head cannons in it. These letters start from 1st Year Christmas Holidays and go to 7th Year Christmas Holidays. (The two will be together the last summer holidays so there won’t be any letter from then.)
This is co-written by two people. Letters from Sirius are by “S” and letters from Remus are by “A”.
TW for referenced child abuse in some of the letters. There will be TWs in the top notes of the letters that talk about it. If you feel uncomfortable, please skip.
