“Say something like that again and I promise I’ll kill you dead!” Rin shouted as he struggled against the hold on his arms. The boys holding him had flinched, having never witnessed Rin so enraged.
It couldn’t be true. It wasn’t true. Or was it? Amidst the indignation surging through his veins, a cold, sinking feeling twisted in his stomach—an incessant dread that perhaps it was true, a truth he refused to recognize.
Shidou had yelled back some aggravated words as he was held back too, but it was all white noise to Rin. All he could really think about while he was being dragged off the field forcefully was the image of Sae, bent over a bed or a counter or a wall, her skirt hiked up as Shidou took her from behind.
Where Rin finds out Sae slept with Shidou, and Sae faces the consequences.
