“I’m leaving tomorrow morning.” So yes.
“We can eat them there.”
“What’s wrong with your apartment?”
If Kyouji stepped foot in there after Satomi had spent multiple weeks fantasizing about Kyouji doing all sorts of stuff to him on pretty much every surface of his apartment he’d probably explode. Lacking the ability to admit that, Satomi instead said, “It’s always so hot at my place this time of year. The windows face the sun while it sets.”
“Alrighty,” Kyouji said brightly. Satomi was surprised, albeit glad, that Kyouji didn’t push him on his obvious lie. “Let’s go, then.”

Satomi came back to himself amidst the soft chuckle of Kyouji's voice.
"You're still just too damn cute," Kyouji said fondly, a sigh feathering through Satomi's hair where it stuck damp against his forehead with sweat.
It made Satomi squeeze his eyes shut even more tightly, mortification rising hot beneath his skin.
Or, Satomi comes a little too quickly. Kyouji loves it.

Yuji shook his head, taking the joint back. “No, I get it. Sometimes I feel it too.”
Yuji’s heart learned to lie first. To say something else entirely, anything but the truth. But lies, like smoke, slip through fingers no matter how tightly you hold on.
