Summary
Despite their unconventional meeting, Jayce begins to see Viktor, not as herald of destruction, but as someone who beneath his cold intellect, holds a sincere desire to preserve his home. His inventions, once seen as invasive tools, now seem like frail threads, woven with the intent to protect rather than destroy.
In turn, Viktor's eye's open to the deep, ancient intelligence that pulses through Jayce and his home. He sees, within the young na'vi, a bond with the land that no machine could replicate.
