David and Julia return to Cheltenham to visit Frances.
“You two will need to get out of the house for a bit so they can do their jobs,” Frances said, her eyes narrowing over the edge of her mug. “I thought you might want to take David to show him the racecourse,” Frances said matter-of-factly before she turned to look at David. “Julia’s father used to take her there all the time when she was small,” she told him. “That’s where her love for horses began, I think. All those weekends spent at the stables.”
“Mother, I’m sure David doesn’t want go to --”
“I’d like to go, Julia,” David interrupted, and Julia stopped speaking, surprised by his response.
“Really?” she asked in surprise. “Alright. I’ll take you after breakfast then,” she said with a little smile as she sipped her tea and met David’s eyes across the table.

Summary
In Germany there is this massive cyber attack, where hundreds (probably, not sure you have to look it up) of private chats, phone numbers and whatnot of politicians were hacked and leaked online. So, when I heard that, I had the idea, that this could be a way how David and Julia's relationship might have been exposed.

A story that picks up several months after the ending of season 1, in which everything was the same except Julia never died or faked her death. She was just severely injured and thus out of action while the second half of the season happened.
