Summary
After a failed visit to Rosie and a violent encounter in the streets of Pentagram City, Alastor finds himself face-to-face with his old rival, Vox. What begins as a confrontation between two powerful demons quickly turns into a nightmare when Vox discovers the truth behind Alastor’s recent weakness, his growing attachment to the residents of the Hazbin Hotel, especially to Charlie.

Summary
Two weeks after the battle of the hotel, Charlie and the others are still reeling from their losses and changes. Alastor hasn’t returned, Pentious is gone, and there’s a whole new hotel to set up as they prepare for new Sinners in the program. And to make matters even stranger, an unexpected person shows up at the hotel doors asking for sanctuary: Lilith, Queen of Hell, missing for seven years.
Charlie is more than happy to give her mom a place to stay and hide after hearing the story of her kidnapping. But Lilith has other objectives in mind, and Charlie finds herself shoved into an empty pocket world made of literal nothingness for her own protection.
Well, nearly empty. At least she knows where Alastor is, now.

Viktor gave her a sideways glance as he shuffled papers on the table by the window he stood at. “This 'shit' concerns the intersectionality of the fascinatingly complex innerworkings of the human body and the vast untapped world of technology at our fingertips. Your application gave me the impression that you had at least an understanding, even an interest, in this line of study. I expected a bit more from you in person.”

As an assistant professor of biomechanical engineering at Piltover University, Viktor decides to take on a pupil for a semester to help him with his research. What he doesn't expect is Jinx, the scrappy girl from his hometown of Zaun that *definitely* has some stuff going on. Instead of being discouraged by such an unorthodox apprentice, he decides to take the opportunity in stride and becomes determined to break down the strange girl's walls.
