Eddie pulls farther away, laughing. It’s not the joyful and full laugh that Steve is used to. No, this laugh is deeper and tiresome.
“Wasn’t it? It not like it was going to last forever, y’know. Let's both, just move on. Yeah?” Eddie shrugs and stands. He gets up and leaves.

steve really really wants this teddy bear.
he was never allowed stuffed animals as a child and had taken it upon himself to build that collection and nurture that part of him. and he's got quite a few now, most of them sit in his closet, save for a few under his bed for easy access, but he keeps them hidden.
