Summary
Steve was good at loyalty. He was good at commitment. But he didn’t have to choose America, he just was American. He didn’t know what he would do, if someone sat him in front of the UN and said, okay, pick which country you want to be captain of. He felt like this business of picking a spouse was essentially that—staring at a room full of professional faces, inscrutable, with them listening to his words through an earpiece and translating them into entirely foreign tongues. It was impossible. Eventually, he gave up.
Steve chose Bucky and Bucky chose Steve. They both had their reasons.

Summary
Steve Rogers was found in the ice. Now he's navigating the 21st century, being back in Brooklyn, being part of the Avengers, trying to find his place in this strange new world. Then one day, in his local bodega, everything gets a whole lot stranger.
-----
“Is that everything?”
The voice hits his ears. Steve’s eyes snap up in shock. And then the world stops turning.
Bucky. Bucky is there. Bucky is there, in front of him, on the other side of the counter, looking at him. Bucky—his best friend, who fell from that train, who died right in front of him—is standing there, looking at him.

Summary
“I think I’m dying.”
Hannibal blinks, feeling blindsided, before a surge of relentless anger floods every corner of his body. Will stares with that same vacant mask he’s built, giving nothing away.
“You are not dying.” He replies, sure as can be. Of course, Will isn’t dying. Ridiculous boy, how could he—
“Maybe I should.”
And Hannibal freezes.
Blood, bones, and tar all turn to ice. His spine straightens without his permission and Hannibal leans back, fixing his unmoving boy with a blank stare that reflects a calmness that he no longer feels.
Will drops his eyes, clenches his hands into fists, then releases. “Maybe I should just let whatever this is…” He swallows hard. “Kill me.”
_________________Will calls Hannibal in a panic after he sleepwalks and ends up in the woods. Hannibal finds him and gets him home safely, but there are more than just nightmares and exhaustion crawling around in Will's mind now, and Hannibal begins to realize that perhaps he pushed too far.

Summary
“It’s natural to feel uncomfortable—Jack Crawford has displaced you once again. A change of environment is startling for anyone, but especially for you in these circumstances. I’m your psychiatrist, after all.”
“Changing my environment for Dr. Lecter.” Will laughs dryly. “You should hope I don’t go wandering in my sleep.”
To catch an elusive killer, Hannibal and encephalitis-ridden Will must stage a romantic relationship. Naturally, Hannibal plans to take advantage of this in every way he can.
