And no matter how many times he repeats the same lines over and over again till he runs out of reasons to support why dating should be banned (it's a lie; Lucas will never run out of reasons for this purpose, he just gives in to the looks the boys - or Eliott - throw at him) that his friends understand his struggles, his pleas for them to stop. And always, like clockwork, he ends in having them set him up with an unknown guy.

Yann's hands...they were safe, a shield from the harsh world outside of his hold. Lucas let himself fold and settle into the hands that protected him.

Lucas doesn't even think of how he did not look at Eliott's hands...not even once during their interaction...

He took the microphone and cleared his throat. He seemed to freeze for a moment, his eyes panicked as they scanned the crowd. He smiled, then spoke.
"I'm sorry if I seem nervous. Anyway, my film is called Polaris. It's about two star-crossed lovers who cannot truly love each other until both of them face their fears. It's about how love conquers all, and how love can come in any possible form. It's more of a rough draft, but I hope you enjoy it."
