In response, all he got was another whine. The person turned his body to face Fukase and slowly cracked his eyes open.
To Fukase’s shock, they were a bright crimson.
And then it happened. One second he was sitting crosslegged on his mattress watching this person like an animal in a nature documentary (that sounds weirder when he thinks it out loud). The next he had been pinned down with his back pressed against the mattress.
(Or, Fuckass learns the hard way why he shouldn't pick people off from the streets. To his surprise, he doesn't regret it.
