    Hua Cheng has issued a wave of fresh challenges to so many heavenly officials, his rampage may well wipe out the heavens. Ling Wen is sent to ask the calamity what could get him to stay his hand this time, and receives an impossible request - the hand of the Crown Prince of Xianle, long since disappeared from the realms.

    Xie Lian was minding his own business six hundred years post-banishment when the bun he salvaged was knocked from his hands into the dirt. Swept up to the heavenly court, he's asked if he is willing to put himself on the line for the sake of peace between heaven and ghost realms.

    Faced with a situation neither of them could have expected in their lifetimes, what are a ghost king and twice-banished god to make of their most implausible arrangement?

    Summary

    Xie Lian has not stolen anything. He is completely innocent and it is not his fault he keeps claiming ownership over Hua Cheng's things.

    This was supposed to be a plotless collection of one-shot, but it kind of developed a plot at some point so it is recommended to read these in right order.

    “The third is Hua Cheng - Crimson Rain Sought Flower. A massive black and red monster with one fiery red eye they say is cursed. He has caused the downfall of over thirty kings and emperors and he is the scourge of dragon hunters. There are rumours that this beast has a sentimental side - they say he has been seen using one of his wings to shield a patch of tiny white flowers from a hail storm.

    Hua Cheng? It was a good name - Xie Lian felt the urge to smile. He liked the story about the flowers. He had always liked flowers himself, had always cherished the flowers that his people threw at him during festivals and parades.
