“You’re drunk.” Shoto informed Katsuki with the ghost of what could’ve been a smile on his lips.
“Hm?” The guy next to Shoto with a mane of flaxen hair dipped his head forward and nearly fell off of the chair he was sitting on. “Shut up, Halfie, ‘m not drunk.”
Katsuki said the last word with a curl of his lips, like the prospect of being inebriated was the next villain he needed to slay. The entire scene was pulled together by the fact that Katsuki was listing heavily to his left, coincidentally pressing himself into Shoto’s right side. 'The warm side,' as all of his friends had dubbed it.

Sixty seconds.
His breath catches and his heart hammers, scalp prickling with the beginnings of anxiety. His phone vibrates, probably another alarm reminding him that he will actually be late if he doesn’t leave now. His wrist is aching now, fingers curled around it as he counts down the seconds in his head.
At 25 seconds he can’t seem to see a single person who may or may not be his soulmate, and tries to ignore the painful lurch his heart gives at the thought.
