"Mother's eyes," she gently interrupted, earning a nod," Severus told me that once," she looked down, "I thought it was true, at least it seemed true when he showed me one of her class pictures," she looked up again, "It's nice that you remember them too."
"Quite an interesting concept if you ask me," Madeline looked confused, "how a person can have such a complex mixture of their parents," he explained, holding out his hands for the girl, which she quickly accepted into her own, "and how the troubling parts of a parent," he played with her arms as if she was a child, "can turn into something great."
