He never wanted you to take care of him when he wasn't himself, and as much as he loved you doing it anyway, he draw a line you must not cross - If there comes a moment when he can't get back to you, you have to leave him. You promised then, but even in the past you knew that was a lie. Kaminari Denki was much more than just a boyfriend for you and you swore you would never leave him even in the worst days of your shared lifes, because he deserves that and much more love.
