    “—Marriage! We’re married!” Jack dragged a hand through his hair, feeling that headache coming on.

    It was a marriage certificate, all right. Dated from last night, from a chapel right on the Las Vegas Strip. On the paper, both of their names were sloppily handwritten on the respective lines in a drunken attempt at a signature.
