Summary
When an outbreak that kills off half the population of the countries children spreads, it is not the children who die the government is afraid of; it is the ones who live. And Regulus just so happens to be one of them.
Green, Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange. That's what they are now, a color on a scale, a number on a chart. Regulus may have survived the strange, brutal disease that passed through him, but something much worse has burrowed beneath his skin. Now, the children who have lived through the illness have developed strange abilities - ones they cannot control; ones the President fears. Regulus is taken from his home and locked inside a camp, Azkaban, where he must work to live and live to work. Without his brother, Regulus navigates life locked within this hell, and hiding the fact he's one of the dangerous ones the government had long since been rid of.
When he is broken out the camp a decade into making his life there, he must see if he can find his way around the outside world. It just so happens, though, that the DEA's lied to them, and there ARE other people like him living in the wild. That's where he meets a strange boy with much too much joy for their circumstances

indelible
(adj.) Impossible to erase or forget
Before the end of his fifth year, Regulus Black went missing.
In the start of what should be his seventh year, he's working in a bar with no memories of his past life; to just be able to make it by for him and the family he'd made along the way.
All he wanted to do was ask the random, insanely attractive stranger who he had an undeniable pull to for their number. He did not expect to be pulled back into the world of wizardry and a life he could not care less to remember.

Summary
When Sirius leaves to go on a trip for the christmas holidays with his boyfriend, it leaves James, for once in his life, left completely alone. During the break, he supposed there were a lot of things he could be doing- but instead he was rotting inside of his apartment, alone with his thoughts and the recent bubbling, deprecative feelings within him left after a recent break up.
His days are slow, his mind slower, and it's what has him taking one of his late night runs much later than he's planned, setting out beneath the stars.
What he does not expect- is to find a man on the bridge, overlooking the ways down below.
Or; James thinks it's fate that has him running late on his daily run and finding Regulus Black before he can jump, and Regulus does not think he has it in him to find a will to live until he is staying in a random man's apartment, hiding out from his parents.

Summary
“So, not going to ask for my name?” James asks after a moment, and Regulus huffs, wiping his hands on his apron as he stands up, giving James a bored glance.
“I don’t really care to know, to be honest,” he snips back, and James places a dramatic hand on his chest as he leans back, feigning pain.
“Ooh, ouch, my heart. Careful, I’m a fragile man. It’s James, just so you know. Now you have the pleasure of knowing the name of the person you’ll be jerking off to tonight,” he winks, and again Regulus rolls his eyes as he scoffs.
“Please,” he replies back, but he can’t hide the pink tinging his cheeks, and James’ grin widens as he steps closer. Regulus stares at him for a hot moment, before blinking and shaking his head.
James is famous in a band, and Regulus is a barista in a coffee shop. Four minutes before closing, James escapes into his shop from a crowd of fans, implanting himself into Regulus' life permanently.

Summary
“Hi, darlin’,” James drawls, finger hooked under his chin to tilt his head back. Up close, he’s pretty. A dusting of freckles across a perfect nose. Gray eyes flecked with blue. Full lips nice and pink.
James wants to take a bite out of him.

Summary
James’ eyes stop; along with the natural rhythm of his breathing and the beat of his heart. If he wasn’t still standing upright he’d think he died just from one glance at the lead singer.
He sings into the microphone, his eyes shut tight and his hands gripped to the stand as he belts.
It isn’t – it can’t be.
His eyes open, and like a compass pointing north, that hauntingly familiar grey lands right on James.'In a room full of people I look for you.'

“I wrote this next song about you. You know who you are.”
“I wrote every song about you.”
~Or. Three years ago, in a Paris nightclub, James sees Regulus dancing and falls for him on the spot. They agree to start a relationship, knowing it will have to end when James goes back to London, on the condition that afterwards they go completely no contact. By the time it ends they're both heartbroken but stick to their agreement and lose contact.
Years later they are still NOT over it and make it absolutely everyone else's problem.
Until James is invited by Sirius to watch his little brother's band and finds his ex stood at the microphone singing an album worth of songs about their month together in Paris.

Summary
“I’m thinking of ending things.”
James pressed his lips together hard as he fought the urge to suck in a breath at the words. He instinctively reached for his binder of prepared materials and began to flip through it as if it would have the answer, rustling the pages frantically as he did.
“Hello?”
James flinched. “Um, hi, yes sorry it’s uh-- it’s my first day.”
A pause. Then, dry as a bone: “Brilliant. You’d think they’d at least train you to tell people not to kill themselves before handing you a phone.”
James froze, then panicked. “Oh God-- you’re right, I mean, of course-- I didn’t-- oh, shit, I just--”
James’s rambling was interrupted by a quiet sound, over so quickly he almost missed it.
The caller had laughed.
At him.
OR
A muggle college AU where James is a Psychology student who starts working at a crisis center. His first caller is dry, guarded, and somehow familiar, despite being a perfect stranger. Night after night their conversations continue, blurring all the lines between them, until the caller finally makes a choice that changes both their lives forever.

Summary
Regulus Black loves France. Which is why, when he's called into his father's office and coldly informed that he's going to be entering the same foreign exchange program that his brother did a few years prior---in Britain nonetheless---he has a very hard time believing that anything will ever be okay again. Within days, everything he's ever known is turned on its head. He's forced into a world with people he can't communicate with, customs he doesn't understand, and a brother whom he's not sure how to talk to anymore. It's hard to find his footing, when every step seems to fall out from beneath him, and every decision feels wrong.
Sirius Black hates France. The culture is lovely, but between the abuse of his parents and the crushing weight of their expectations, Sirius finds it hard to find things to reminisce about. Really, the only thing he misses is his brother, who slips further through his hands with every passing minute. When he gets the call, he’s almost happy for a moment. That is, until he’s very promptly informed that his brother blames him for being torn away from France, and becomes aware that this is very unlikely to bring them closer together.
Instead, it's likely to tear them completely apart.
