Summary
The closest Jongho will ever get to heaven, he thinks, is buried between Wooyoung’s thighs, his name a prayer on those lips he’s never tasted.
Burning for eternity wouldn’t be so bad. Not really. Not if he could remember the press of Wooyoung’s lips against his throat, soft, plush, and warm. Not if he could carry the memory of Wooyoung saying his name like it’s something holy, something worthy of reverence, when he comes undone.
Jongho was told very clearly, three years ago, by a gruff deep voice over the phone who had introduced themselves as Mingi: Wooyoung does not kiss his clients. A universal boundary, non-negotiable.
Even after three years, a small fortune, and hundreds of nights together, Jongho still doesn’t know what those lips taste like.

Summary
Hongjoong whistled low. “A tall order, sire.” He cocked his head to the side with a snarky smile on his lips. “And it comes at a steep price.”
Seonghwa’s father gripped the armrests of his throne. “Name it.”
Hongjoong paused to rake his eyes over Seonghwa. “You will give me your son in marriage.”
...
Pirate Captain Hongjoong is more powerful than the King. He knows it. The King knows it. Everyone knows it. So when the King begs him for an alliance, Hongjoong can name his price. No one expects him to demand the crown Prince’s hand in marriage, least of all Prince Seonghwa. But can Seonghwa survive on the savage seas? And will this loveless marriage harden his heart like the pirate he’s been tied to?

Summary
“Oh! It's you!”
Jongho looks at the other man, confused. He can only seem to focus on the bottom half of his face. Specifically his mouth. It's so mesmorizing, he can't look away. He can see it moving, clearly he's speaking, but Jongho doesn't hear a word.

Summary
Growing up, Hongjoong had heard whispered tales about the Manyeo, a cult of dark magic users that were stolen as children and moulded to become monsters. Some say that they trade their souls for power, some say that they kill anyone who sees them, some say that they're just a myth to make children behave. Once he became an adult, a pirate captain, Hongjoong had passed the Manyeo off as being figures of fiction.
But the man locked in an enemy ship's brig had all the signs: the tattoos down his back, the dye that stained his fingertips, the clothes and weapons and jewellery. Maybe he really was a Manyeo, and maybe that was why his lips had been sewn shut. You can't cast spells if you can't speak.
If he had been a wise man, Hongjoong would have killed the stranger while he was weak. If he had been a wise man, he wouldn't have looked into the other's eyes and noticed how they seemed to hold all the stars from the night sky. But Hongjoong had never claimed to be a wise man, and he wasn't about to start now.
