    He sure as hell never planned for the number one hero to pass on his quirk to him, and die shortly after.

    Years later, six years to be precise, he’s a vigilante on the streets of Mutsutafu. His take down of All For One is no secret, and his presence as the vigilante Omen is adored. He loves his fanbase, but he doesn’t appreciate the constant pursuit of the media for new pictures and flimsy stories.

    So, when a certain sleep-deprived hero approaches him about a teaching gig, with little-to-no restrictions he’s quite hasty to reply. UA wants anything Izuku is willing to provide for their third years…

    Wait. Their third years? Like Izuku’s age third years? Class 3A?

    Oh shit. He’s totally in.

     

    Or, Izuku being the Number One Hero to the public, but a vigilante in actuality and people knowing virtually nothing about him. So, UA offers him a job to teach 3A, and also try and get the teen to have a support system and not go it alone because life at the top is lonely.

    He smiled weakly. “The worst part is what my quirk says to me. I’m sure you’ve heard about villains like Terrorflame or Frostheart, right?”

    Ochako’s breath caught. Of course she had, but surely it was a bit taboo to bring that up with him, right? Well, he was the one who said it… “Yeah… They’re your relatives, right?”

    “Yeah. And my quirk is like theirs.” Deku’s hands gripped his sheets, knuckles turning white. “My quirk is evil, Uraraka. I’m defying my nature by even trying to be a hero.”

    Izuku is born with a quirk that seems to lead him down the path of villainy, but he's determined to be a hero. He wants to be the nice guy that everyone looks up to, but it's hard to be nice when you're a dragon.

    Fortunately, he isn't alone, and with the help of his friends and mentors, he might just make it through alright.
