Summary
During the summer before everyone goes off to collage Mike and Wills relationship sprouts into something different.
With Mike and Jane being broken up after the final fight with Vecna, how could they not experiment with each other a little bit? Okay a lotta bit.
Mike wouldn’t consider himself gay though. He’s just… practicing, you know, for collage and stuff. Or at least that’s what he keeps telling himself.

Will and Mike both work at the mall. Mike works at Scoops Ahoy while Will works at Surfers Boy Pizza. After Mike and Jane broke up, Will and Mike started to be friends with benefits. But maybe, they both want more without themselves even realizing.

Summary
After defeating Vecna, Will Byers goes to NYU to have a fresh start. Him and Mike have grown apart ever since Will came out. This made Will feel that Mike maybe didn't accept him for who he is. Mike and Will end up moving into a small two bed room apartment for University. In NYU Will meets his now boyfriend, Carlton, in one of his psychology classes he’s taking to become a therapist. In the beginning of their relationship Will is having the time of his life. But the more it goes on the more controlling and demanding Carlton becomes. One day Carlton snaps at Will after he showed up late to Carlton’s place. He hits him hard, something he had never done before. Now Will would never consider himself weak but in the moment he felt completely and utterly helpless. Later when Will finally gets home Mike’s reaction is nothing like Will expected.

After season five storyline Will and Mike have grown apart. They move in with each other while they both go to NYU. There Will meets Carlton who then becomes his boyfriend. Later in their relationship Carlton starts to become abusive. Mike does not take this news lightly.
