    “Not Harry, not Harry, please not Harry!”
    “Stand aside, you silly girl… stand aside, now”.
    And Lily Potter stepped aside.
    Voldemort stared at her.
    “... Is this some sort of trick?” he asked softly.
    “No". Her voice was flat, lifeless. “You already killed James... If you let me live, then you can have Harry”.
    Voldemort’s lip curled - not in amusement, but disgust. His own mother had died for him. Pathetic, yes, sentimental and foolish - but she had chosen to die so that he could live. Lily Potter wasn’t even choosing to care. Surely the child of prophecy deserved a better mother than this! Even he could give the boy to a better family to be raised right!
    Voldemort slowly reached down and picked up the child.
    He was still staring at him. He was still oddly silent. His eyes were still the colour of the Killing curse and brimming with power.
    Yes, Voldemort decided, that was exactly what he’d do.
    "You belong to me now" he whispered.
    And with a crack like thunder, he turned on the spot, vanishing into the night.

    Or, the one where Harry Potter is raised by the Lestranges and it goes more or less how you would expect.

    “No post on Sundays” Uncle Vernon announced happily, “No damn letters today-”
    Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. The next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets.
    “That does it!” he snapped, his beady little eyes focused solely on Harry, “It’s you that they want. And they won’t stop coming after us until you’re… gone”.
    Harry didn't like the sound of that.
    “But Vernon, we can’t! You heard what that- that despicable old man told us!”
    “Don’t worry, pet” Vernon said, his nasty grin triumphant, “I’ll leave him someplace so far away that those freaks will never trace him back to us. There’s an institute up north, for these- these hopeless cases and whatnot - St Brutus's Secure Centre for Boys. I’ll leave him there, and then we can get back to our nice, normal life”.

    Or, the one where Harry doesn't attend Hogwarts in first year but finds his way to the wizarding world anyway, and this changes everything.

    Tom Riddle discards the idea of making Horcruxes when he realizes there is an easier option: make the Master of Death fall in love with him. Easy right? There are just a few problems. Featuring: love advice from the Knights of Walpurgis, shenanigans and manipulations, and a very confused Harry Potter.

    Fushi is doing art so that his friends won't worry about him anymore, but after the death of one of his colleagues and a will that asks him to keep on painting, he decides to take art seriously.
    As he returns to the studio, a familiar face sits in the middle of the room, posing. Kahaku, his friend who had died almost 600 years ago is now somehow back and seeking a second chance from Fushi, but Fushi is still mourning and focusing on art, does he even have time to deal with Kahaku?

    Or Kahaku tries to be different from all his ancestors and Fushi tries to move on from the past.

    I have finished the modern arc in the manga, and this is kind of an au where Fushi and his friends go their separate ways for the most part instead of living together.
