Summary
Keqing is resigned to her fate. As the only alpha in her family, she is saddled her with the responsibility of carrying on the family name. Inheritance and children are her duties.
Ganyu is just the casualty in her father's game. A means to an end. No more than the daughter of the affluent god of contracts, Rex Lapis. At least that's what Keqing thinks.
Keqing is bitter, but resolves to carry out her duty. It would be a disservice to Ganyu if she were to be an uncaring lover.

Well, Keqing begged to disagree.
After pining for her best friend's older sister, Ganyu, for more than ten years and ending up having to attend her wedding with someone else, Keqing had no belief for such sayings anymore.
Although, sometimes, old sayings held some truth to them after all.
