Summary
The Bakugo family was never peaceful and anyone who knew them would tell you the same. They loved each other, but any time that Mitsuki had a bad day at work she would take it out on her husband by screaming and he would let her. He understood that sometimes she just needed to scream and vent and there was nothing malicious in the things that she said.
He knew that, but Katsuki didn’t.
“She’s not screaming at me. She’s screaming to me. There’s a big difference.” His dad ruffled his hair and pat the couch so Katsuki would sit next to him. He didn’t. “Listen, sometimes Mom just needs to scream. She’s not mad at me and I know that. She just needs to let go. You’re a lot like her, you know. Someday, you’re going to find someone to yell to and they will know exactly how to help without you saying anything. It might take a while and it means you can’t be a prick to them, but it will happen.”
