Basically, if you weren’t already aware, tsuburaya posts diary entries from Shu that go with every Arc episode. And… a LOT of the time he mentions Yuma. Actually, ALL THE TIME. This is basically the Yuma version of Shu’s diary! All of Yuma’s entries correspond with Shu’s entries. (And yes, just like in Shu’s diary, they are very much swooning over each other.) Also Rution is trying to be a matchmaker (it’s not working).

Summary
Rodolfo and Alejandro have been sleeping around for years. It's meant to be no strings attached but Rodolfo wants more, though he's not willing to admit this to Alejandro. Alejandro wants Rodolfo to open up to him, Rodolfo fears rejection from confessing his feelings. On top of all this, the cartel problem is growing, day by day. They're being slowly cut off from the rest of Mexico. Everyone involved is being faced with a problem that may, one day, be no longer able to be fixed.
Things need to change.
