Sephiroth has never seen the need for a mate, and he is committed to a life of battle in the King’s service. When Cloud, the prize omega of a nameless village, attacks him, Sephiroth changes his mind: he will court this feral, deadly creature, or he will die trying.

Summary
How could he ever summon the mental capacities to describe the blessed gift of Cloud’s smile, his cerulean gaze, his aura, his everything? The trooper who looked upon him with tenderness– not condemnation, not cowardice, just pure acceptance and joy at his simple presence.
Sephiroth was a weapon, equipped to attack but not to attract others to him. The fear of scaring away or weirding out the trooper paralyzed him. Worse, he had no way to determine his sudden affliction, or why Cloud aroused such perplexing feelings in him.
Whatever it was, he had to find out.
~Loosely inspired by the Ancient Greek myth of Zeus and Ganymede, in which Zeus experiences ~gay panic~ and 'logically' kidnaps Ganymede to become his cupbearer.
