The words spatter on his face like wet acrylic paint, quickly drying and forever molding themselves on his face for him to walk around ashamed, just waiting to be picked on as the boy with the paint on his face, but he knows it not there, but the spit is, and so is the now reddening welt on his cheek from a connection which jerked his head to the side, and while his eyes welled with involuntary tears, he wondered if it would be better to tell someone what was happening to him, rather than to endure.
