It was supposed to be an invitation to rest. A guided armchair for her to spend the night on. A warm meal more expensive than perhaps all of Vi’s belongings put together.
Vi turns that around pretty quickly

Summary
When Vi initially took on a job as an enforcer, she didn't quite picture herself falling for Sheriff Caitlyn Kiramman. However, after months of working late nights alone together, Vi finds herself deeply in love with the much older Alpha.
The problem is, Caitlyn is insistent on keeping their relationship professional. The blow comes right after they've slept together, leaving Vi with a broken heart and an unexpected pregnancy while Caitlyn is off perusing their co-worker, Maddie.
Although Vi is ready and willing to handle things on her own, Caitlyn suggests that they marry and raise their child together. It won't be easy, considering their history together, but they're both willing to give their relationship a second chance.
