Summary
Face springs Murdock from the V.A. for a little double-date fun. Should be a fun and relaxing time, right? Things turn out not to be as they seem when a small-town mob, the military, and a betrayal get thrown in the mix!
"The Outsiders" with Jazz features ideas and inspiration from S.E. Hinton's "The Outsiders". After all, who's more outside of society than military veterans being treated as criminals for a crime they didn't commit?
Basically, just a fun little writing experiment. If you read it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Summary
Every day Face got up, got ready, and went through pretty much the same routine. Oh, there were variations in the details. Sometimes he would be a computer salesman, other times a doctor, and occasionally even a nun.
He loved running the scams, he loved watching the explosions. He loved hearing about Murdock’s pet egg and B.A.’s work at the children’s center. Hell, he even loved whipping out a lighter for the Colonel’s cigar as though he was some lackey by trade.
But somehow, Face felt as though he were on a raft drifting away.
Listening to Murdock and B.A. banter, playing his part in the plan, it was all white noise to the thoughts. The thoughts that simply would not go away.
When he is captured by Janjic Jakonovich, will Face be able to hang on until rescue comes?
WARNING: My rough draft of this was dark...I think it's better now but, reader, beware. Face struggles with some difficult thoughts in this one. If you do too, take care of yourself, don't read.

Based on the prompt that I found on Pinterest: I hope death is like being carried to your bedroom when you were a child & fell asleep on the couch during a family party. I hope you can hear the laughter from the next room.
I imagine one way Five could die, and what it would be like if she could hear her family at Abel for this prompt.
Not really sad or angsty...more bittersweet than anything.
