Summary
Instead of receiving a violin for his sixth birthday, Viktor Hargreeves - back then, Number Seven - instead walks out of his father's study empty-handed. Led by Pogo, the family butler and his only friend, he takes to singing and writing, and though less than a sidenote in his own brain, soon enough, that proves itself both his downfall and his rebirth.
