Lin Zu Yuan panted wetly, briefly closing his eyes as he savored the taste of cigarettes on the other’s breath. He rested his forehead against Le Ge’s, cursing softly.
“What?” Le asked, out of breath himself but still with that stupid smirk on his face.
Zu Yuan frowned. “Cigarettes,” he said simply, knocking their foreheads together gently and stealing one more wet kiss before leaning back. He nearly fell off the narrow hospital bed.

And that…that was true—but “I trust you,” Vegas said hurriedly, “and I want—need—you to—” he broke off, unsure how to put his motivation into words. He pursed his lips, looking away in frustration, only for Pete to bring a hand up to his cheek and turn him right back.
“I trust you. I don’t need you to give up control just to ‘make up’ for the past. Or whatever it is you’re trying to prove,” he said, eyes and voice soft. “But thank you; I appreciate it,” he finished, leaning in and capturing Vegas’ lips in an unbelievably soft kiss, the touch featherlight.
