"Yoshiki I... Ya know I have ta leave... right? I can't- stay and hurt ya and... and the village too."
He mumbles, and- can't stop himself from sobbing as he wraps his arms back around the other. He feels so selfish in doing such a thing but- he knows its also for the best.
"They're gonna come for me.... and... and I can't protect ya- like.. like I could before. 'M... I can't lose ya. And that's mah want- not Hikaru's."
His body struggles for a second to stay contained before he's pushing the other off and wiping at his face again. Moving to stand fully, with a hand grasping his chest.
"I Love Ya... romantically and.. that is- really really scary ta me too..."
His expressions falls- eyes going wide as the other speaks- feeling his heart drop in his chest. His eyes then suddenly sting with tears, his hands shaking a bit. "You- what-?"

Summary

Summary
Hikaru had been the ideal alpha boy, brave and funny and kind, with a sense of responsibility that even the adults couldn't help but praise. In contrast, the thing that came out of the mountains in Hikaru's body wasn't just secretely a monster but he was also not nearly secretive enough about changing slowly into an omega, in a village that absolutely couldn't accept that kind of wish.
No matter how desperate Yoshiki might be to keep everything from changing, there were some things he just couldn't avoid facing.

Suguru perks up at the sound of Satoru’s voice, paling slightly when he takes in the expression on his face.
He has one of those looks, the one that tells Suguru the next words that will come out his mouth will either be absolutely brilliant, or the worst thing he’s ever heard.
Suguru gulps slightly, his palms suddenly feeling clammy. He wipes them on his thighs before letting his finger trace the rim of his glass. “What is it?”
“You can take me!” he beams, a magnificent smile spreading across his lips. “I’ll be your boyfriend!”
If Suguru could see his reflection right now, he would probably look as pale as Satoru.
A smoke signal, a flare gun going off, someone coming up to him and blatantly saying, ‘Hey, your best friend is about to say something really fucking crazy’, anything would have been nice to prepare Suguru for this.
“What?” Suguru croaks.
or; Satoru volunteers being Suguru's fake boyfriend and nothing can go wrong.
