Minho felt a cold sweat break along the back of his neck. He didn't like how Chan sounded when he said that; it was as if there was a threat behind his casual demeanor that told Minho he wasn't allowed to find a mate, at least, not just any random mate…

admittedly, yoongi would be the first to say that it’s not the weirdest thing his sleep-addled brain can come up with: a young man rolling into the corner of his desk with a muted thud, looking up at him with a wide smile — he’s striking, with rosy cheeks and huge dark eyes sparkling with something yoongi can’t quite catch. he's also completely naked. “hey, hyung,” the guy says, still grinning, and promptly vanishes.
yoongi just blinks, headphones still in his hands, and stares down at the carpet for a while. the clock reads 3:47. he needs sleep.
but then it happens again, and again, and again—and years later, he has to appreciate the delicate ways in which the universe has aligned to bring them together.
(alternatively: yoongi’s already known jeongguk for years by the time jeongguk first meets yoongi. a time traveler's wife au.)
