Summary
Marco was not sure what he had expected when he had started scouting the North Blue for just the hint of a way to treat Pops' illness better. A lucky break perhaps, hoping to find the Ope Ope no Mi fruit that Haruta swore up and down had been spotted some two years back in that Blue.
Or perhaps a clue who had the fruit now.
He did not actually expect to find the current user of the Ope Ope no Mi - something that would have flown under his radar completely if he hadn't seen the child - because that was still a child - reattaching a floating limb. Golden eyes. Black hair. Way too short for his age - stunted health, probably due to malnourishment or sickness or both, Marco noted clinically. A tiny polar bear mink hiding behind him - Marco almost squeaked because what? And a rusted blade pointed at Marco's neck as soon as the First Division Commander made his presence known to the children.
Needless to say, Trafalgar Law was not what the Phoenix expected. But perhaps he was exactly what Pops needed.
Because Calypso help him, that was a new sibling in the making and he was adorable. Marco did his best to ignore the Phoenix crooning at the back of his mind. Chicklet. Mine.

Summary
The Jikan Jikan no Mi was a fruit capable not of pushing someone through time, but of pushing time through a person. A person's future self is brought to the present and, afterwards, time snaps back to bring their younger self forward. When Luffy collapses at Marineford, its holder comes forward and offers to use her powers rather than let him have a second hormone injection from Iva. The power is not without its risks, but Luffy does not hesitate to accept. If he had a chance to be stronger—or to bring a stronger him in his place, even temporarily—then he would take it.
He would do anything to save Ace.

Luffy closes his eyes on the Sunny as they sail away from Wano, and he opens them on the battlefield of Marineford.

Summary
Luffy wasn't always the happy go lucky kid we all know, there was a time when all he knew was rage. Till Shanks, till his brothers and Nakama... But the darkness he grew with, the anger inherited by Dragon was always there, always lurking in the depths of Luffy's mind no matter what he did to hide it. To squash it down.
He did all he set out to do but he had regrets... so many. After everything... the loss of his last remaining brother... Luffy snapped... And yet... here he was falling from the sky once again in a familiar hell.
