[INCIDENT REPORT]
Gepard is actually off-duty for once when he first meets Sampo.
He’s in a back street of Belobog, reading the new volume of Tale of the Winterlands and waiting for Lynx to text that she’s returned from her expedition, when he hears shouts down the street. A man comes vaulting over the wall, blue hair a mess and heavy coat crooked over his shoulders, and slams right into Gepard. They both sprawl across the snowy pavement, and Gepard watches mournfully as his book’s pristine pages get twisted and wet upon hitting the ground face-down.
He hauls himself up, picks up his book, and offers the man a hand, frowning. “What were you doing?”
The man takes his hand and grins devilishly at him, something scheming lighting up behind his eyes. “Ehe~ Hey, handsome. Sorry for our little spill there. Seems I just couldn’t help falling for you!”or:

Summary
Sampo Koski is under arrest (again) for crimes against Belobog (again). When every other Silvermane Guard baulks at the opportunity to interrogate Sampo for the crime, Gepard steps in. Unfortunately Sampo is all too good at getting himself out of sticky situations, and will use everything in his arsenal to do so.
Gepard should have realised this - but unfortunately inexperience always has a habit of making itself known.

Summary
Hanahaki was an unusual disease brought on by unspoken feelings of love—or perhaps it was more accurate to say it was a parasite. Flowers, sustained on both the body and repressed sentiments of the host, grew from the lungs, throat, and mouth of the victim, until the afflicted either confessed to the object of their affections, or suffocated to death. Some were ashamed, or so afraid of rejection that they chose to take their feelings to the grave. Yeesh. Talk about dramatic!
Sampo is head over heels for the young captain of the Silvermane Guards!

Summary
“You are the most irritating, obnoxious man I have ever met,” is all Gepard manages to say.
His head is pounding. He doesn’t have it in him to lecture Sampo or argue with him further. He just blurts out the words, realizing as they leave him they are the absolute truth. Sampo irritates him, annoys him, frustrates him, baffles him. He should stop letting him take any space at all in his mind.
Yet here he is. Taunting him. Forcing Gepard to face him and every despicable thing he stands for. Forcing his way into his mind, his vision, making Gepard stare him down.
And Sampo simply smiles ear to ear. “Thank you,” he says.
Gepard steps closer to the cell door. “It wasn’t a compliment.”

In Which Sampo is persistent in his pursuit of Gepard, while Gepard simply has no clue how to deal with him.
