Taking a deep breath, Loki opened his mouth to speak, but Mobius was quicker, pressing a hand over his lips.
“Whatever you’re about to say, don’t,” he warned.
Loki gently pushed Mobius’ hand away, squeezing his arm to reassure him. “Come on, I’ll probably survive,” he replied, a mischievous glint in his eye. “I’ve got a solid track record.”

He scolds himself mentally for his worries, because it worked, didn’t it? O.B.’s plan. Mobius grabbing all the little pieces of him scattered throughout time and space, and yanking him back to their present. It had actually worked. He is still here.
So why does it still feel like he is floating? Like his body and mind is coming undone, falling apart slowly but surely. Why is the only thing giving him even a smidge of feeling real the thought of strong and desperate hands grabbing him. A hard grip on his bicep, a reassuring touch on his waist. Holding him, taking him where he needs to go, even when he doesn’t know it himself.

After Loki came down flying at Mobius from the threads of the Temporal Loom, the analyst decided that a clean-up and some rest would do them well, but first, he had to stop shaking and get himself together. It didn't matter if Loki was not waking up, nor how the god seemed to go limp in his arms on the cold floor.
