Up close,the hero of the terminal had kind, tired eyes the colour of dark chocolate, magnified by round glasses. His messy dark hair looked as if he’d run his hands through it one too many times. Without thinking, the words tumbled out. "Oh, it's you!"
He looked up from fiddling with his seatbelt, his brows knitting in surprise. "Hm?" he asked, his gaze darting around before landing on her. "You talking to me?"

Summary
When Momo wakes up with a few of her memories missing, she doesn't think it's a big deal. However, as the day goes on, it becomes clear that she's forgetting something very important. She begins to retrace her steps with the help of her classmate who claims to know what happened. It isn't until they're in the middle of hunting down a dangerous cryptid that Momo begins to realize that her classmate knows a lot more than he's letting on.
A/N: Chapters 1 to 5 of this fic were published before Chapter 210 was released. This fic has no relation to the events of the manga. It's just a wild coincidence.
