Summary
After the gruelling war against the Nie sect, waged by Wen Ruohan and aided by Jin Guangshan, comes to an end, there is little left of the Wens beside bone and ash. The Jin sect survived by the skin of their teeth but now, as the dust has settled, the vicious Warlord Nie Mingjue demands Jin Zixuan's hand in marriage as a condition of their surrender.
The Jin sect accepts.
Of course Jin Guangshan never even considered sending his own heir to be married to a Nie savage. However, a son of his must be sent and how fortunate then, that he has his very own bastard working in his palace as a servant.
