Summary
“Legacy to a Bhaalist is settled in stone,” Sarevok’s heavy voice echoed into the darkness. The young tiefling sat in the armchair, a newly awakened Bhaalspawn of fifteen. To his master, she was a marvel, a rather innocent child easily triggered into a killing machine. Kneeling to his 'half-sister's' level, Sarevok gripped her shoulder. “Family is everything, niece. You will lend your uncle a favor. When the time comes, you will consummate a union with my granddaughter. Orin.” The girl nodded into her lap, whispering her compliance "Well...if it is for Father's sake". But behind the heavy door, little Orin heard everything. And there, in the dark, her heart broke for the very first time.
Or- What if there was more to what we know about Durge and Orin's past?
