As the Academy City nearly falls to ruin under the disappearance of the General Student Council President, a strange adult arrives just in time to help bring order, but isn't there something strange about him?
As a former rogue soldier, he seems to fit in perfectly within this gun-ridden city, and with the miraculous protection of the Shittim Chest, isn't he an unstoppable force on the battlefield?
But no... he's supposed to be more than that. He's supposed to be the Sensei of Schale — what good is he as a super soldier if he can't properly guide his students? Can such a simple soldier handle such a demanding position?
Join SMG Sensei's journey as the new (and rather sudden) leader of Kivotos. This is not just a matter of watching his students grow and discover themselves; he'll discover soon enough that they're not the only ones that have to change.

I wrote a chapter-fic styled, sister work to LNAS called Unseen, Before You that follows a similar format but a.) doesn't always take place at night, b.) is narrated in first-person by an outsider protagonist, and c.) will have a story arc and character development.
