Summary
“I’ll bring it next time. I’ll read it to you and translate. It’s hinted at throughout their whole story that he and Galehaut loved each other. So I thought about the idea a lot while I was reading it. Of two men together,” Hans turned on his side to face Henry. “Hal, the way their love is described… It was pure devotion and loyalty. I honestly couldn’t find anything wrong with it.”
Transfixed, Henry turned to face him as well. He tried to process that information but he had barely started to wrap his mind around it that Hans was talking again.
“And Henry, honestly, you are the kindest, purest, and most caring soul I have ever met. It’s almost infuriating how kind you are. If this is your preference, there is no possible way that it can be wrong or a sin. I believe in you a lot more than a preaching Lord.”
_____
An exploration of how different Henry and Hans would have been had they met as children and been friends all along. Also, if Henry had been told about his bio Dadzig way earlier.
Told through slices of life over the years. Does not follow the game’s events except for one major plot point that has been rewritten to fit the new perspective.Bookmarked by Zearch

Summary
“Your dad,” Sokka starts, then swallows hard. “Your dad dueled you, burned half of your face off, and then banished you because you spoke when you shouldn’t have?”
Guilt festers and bubbles like black tar in Zuko’s chest. “I didn’t just speak. I questioned and insulted one of his highest-ranking generals—but the man was planning a massacre! He shouldn’t have—” Zuko clamps his mouth shut, his teeth clicking together, and swallows thickly. “I mean. I found the tactic he proposed very startling, but it wasn’t my place to question such things. I’m sure he had his reasons.”
“Tui and La what the absolute fuck,” Sokka whispers.

In a glade on the borders of their territories, two bitterly feuding tribes clash in one last battle before winter. Over the growing number of injured and dead, they broker a desperate attempt to preserve life before the unforgiving season: a final duel.
Far from the battlefield's frontlines, Arthur hunts alone. A prodigal Omega who holds the rare status of both healer and hunter, he knows what it means when he catches the sight of blood mingling between footsteps.
Eventually torn between his loyalty to his tribe and empathy for his enemy, what threatens Arthur at the end of that trail challenges not just the world he knows, but his own life. Complete, with five bonus epilogues.
