The hand Eddie had in his hair stilled, his mind not quite catching up to what he heard.

Steve sighed as Eddie stared at him, his lips parting just enough to murmur, “T-There. Right there.”

A flash of the haunted look in Eddie’s brown eyes, the memory of the broken bottle against his neck, dispels any lingering doubts about Steve’s decision to lie.

“Take them off”
He faces Eddie, moves towards him and grabs him by the laps of this jacket, and slowly opens it up to take it off.
Eddie laughs again and grabs his hands stopping Steve as he looks at him confused.
“Yours, Steve”
Once more Steve moves just a little closer, puts his hand up and looks at Eddie, through his lashes, he thinks he's being sexy, at least he hopes he is.
Eddie looks confused again and then rolls his eyes and Steve wants to back away afraid he misunderstood the situation but Eddie huffs with a smile and takes his shirt off in one smooth motion, knuckles grazing his sides and making him shiver.OR
After a little drunk misunderstanding Steve realizes he has feelings for Eddie.
