Summary
Youkai Academy had once seen the likes of Tsukune Aono, but not many people took notice of the last person that displayed his kind of powers. This time around, though, the meaning of the word "Stand" would become a lot more significant to the student population.
A re-edited, updated version of a fic called "Stand and Vampire" that I wrote on FF.net. Based primarily on the manga continuity for Rosario + Vampire, though anime-exclusive characters may or may not make cameos and some descriptions may draw from the anime's color schemes. Character tags will be updated as characters appear in the published chapters, and relationship tags will be updated as they become more established.

Summary
The Blackout, they called it—a short-term shutdown of powers for varying lengths throughout the city of Brockton Bay on Earth Bet in January 2011, centered around Winslow High School. Harmless to all the known capes in the city in the long run, by all known measures, though Winslow itself fared a lot worse.
But, for one girl, the Blackout was the first step on several long roads all at once: one, toward a world full of rainbow light, another, to saving her home in all the possible senses, and another, to becoming the world's greatest hero as the vanguard of a new age.
