There is, they say, a shop that wanders the world. A store that claims no street as its own. When the heart grows desperate enough, a crooked little door is said to appear. Inside awaits the Wishing store. The shelves hold exactly what you desire in your most desperate need: a cure, a poison, a lost person returned. You need not search for it—it will find you. The only question is the price.

Some claimed the shopkeeper deals in gold, galleons, sickles, or pounds depending on who asked. Others insisted it demanded rarities, but the most absurd, or perhaps the most truthful, said the price was nothing less than your soul.

Summary
Tawil was clearly an evil god to leave him in such a state, then stop before doing anything about it. Feeling pushed to the brink, Bai Liu's resolve hardened. The hand needed to take responsibility for the tantalizing torment it had unleashed.
