Tony Stark has lost everything after Siberia his heart and body are broken and all he wants to do is give up, but that's not what Fate has in mind. With the nightmares getting worse and this all-consuming pressure in his head stealing his sanity how can he possibly be expected to fix everything the Civil War has broken. Why does it fall on his shoulders to clean up all the mess and devastation left behind by the Rogue Avengers?
With no one to help him. With no family left.
How can he possibly handle everything on his own? How can he possible prepare the world for the enemy he has felt looming over the horizon since the Chitauri attacked New York? Simple...he can't.

Ok not gonna lie I SUCK at summaries.
Basically Steve and Tony fall in love not just lust but honest to god unconditional love but they take the very very long painful way to get there and just because you love some one doesn't mean your good for them or that you should even be with them. People get hurt. Tony is a selfish prick. Steve has no idea who the hell he is. And Natasha is trying very hard not to kill Steve but for other reasons besides his stupidity. Clint fixes Tony and then breaks him again. Bruce and Thor try to keep the peace but have their own issues to deal with.
There is a stalker who isn't really a stalker but who can't seem to stop obsessing over Tony Stark. Tony goes to extremes to make the nightmares go away and get over the addictions and discovers things about himself and his past in the process that he doesn't really like.Oh did I mention the stalker might be Tonys brother and a mutant

Steve is being courted by Eddie. Steve does not realize he's being courted by Eddie, but he encourages the older man's advances all the same, thrilled to have his friend's attention, no matter how weirdly the rest of the Party members are acting about it. Steve's never been properly courted, not really, and it's just not in the cards for him anymore. He's resigned himself to that fact.

Courtship? That's not what's happening. Eddie Munson would never propose courtship with Steve Harrington, not in a million years.

Eddie fucking hated the idea of going back to that god forsaken town that had once before managed to scare him away with pitchforks and witch hunts, but he really had to be there for his uncle, so getting a stupid fucking job at Hawkins middle school was the best he could really try to achieve.

Steve blinks, looking startled and nervous, and a little turned on. "What?"
"Well," Eddie says, hooking his thumbs through Steve's belt loops, "society tells you men are for friendship, and women are for fucking. You said you decided that women are for friendship too, actually. So can I understand this," he tugs Steve's waist forwards, until Steve is pressing both of them against the tiled wall, "as you deciding men are also for fucking? Because -"
He tilts his head forwards, his cheek brushing Steve's as he says quietly into Steve's ear, "I'd be interested if you are."
