“I’m in love with Kazuha,” he says, the words unfolding into the silence.
Astonishingly, this ground-shaking, earth-shattering, heavens-moving proclamation is met with little more than blank stares as Ayaka and Thoma exchange glances over Tomo’s head.
“Yes,” Ayaka finally says, lips twitching like she’s trying to hide a smile at his expense while Thoma casually answers a stray text, the both of them behaving as if Tomo isn’t having the most important discovery of his life--of anyone’s life. “We know. Everyone knows.”

“Man... Let me get this straight. You, of all people, learned a language for this Kazuha guy? Like, an entire, actual language?” Itto says, somewhere between disbelief and blatant amusement.
“I did not learn a language,” Tomo says defensively, like the very idea is preposterous. “It’s a language of flowers. Could not be more different.”
Itto stares and continues to stare at Tomo for what is frankly a disturbing period of uninterrupted silence, at least by Itto standards. Then he roars with laughter and leans forward to punch Tomo in the shoulder.
“Oh-ho! You’ve got it bad, buddy!”

Or, flowers are terrific and all, sure, but Tomo is infinitely more enraptured by the person who's selling them.

Summary
Kaedehara Kazuha has always had a tough life. His spirit had been bent by many turbulent storms and it manifested as a darkness within him. It never showed on the surface, so when rumors of an assassin called ‘The Ghost’ began spreading nobody ever glanced his way. Especially not his dearest friend Tomo. Kazuha walks the line between losing his mind and panic as he tries to keep his secrets, but his jobs get tougher and tougher, and he begins messing up – leaving messy scenes and witnesses. With a detective on his trail and with Tomo’s affection being the only thing keeping him sane, Kazuha is tasked with the toughest job as of yet – he is hired to kill an impossible target. The Ghost was hired to kill Kaedehara Kazuha. His own persona. And the person that hired him serves as betrayal that might push him over the edge.
