Kakuzu x Reader fic.
This takes place a little before Shippuden, so no major deaths and events have happened yet.You have been apart of the Akatsuki for about a few years now. Since everyone already was in a duo, you were mostly sent on solo missions by Pain, though you sometimes were sent as backup/a third-party to whatever duo was sent on the same mission as you. Being the only girls in the group of men, you and Konan got along rather quickly and formed a nice friendship. The two of you did a lot of things together in your free time, quickly becoming close friends. She taught you some origami, you painted each other's nails, and were practically sisters. With this closeness, she learned how to understand and read you more easily, leading to your current conversation. [This takes place at an Akatsuki hideout/base]
