    "The parasite causes increased negative emotions, and takes a role on the physical state. It sort of taps into a person's seidr, which is why it latched onto Loki. I'm assuming it's been there for about a year or so, which isn't unheard of, but it's not healthy. I'm going to take it out, but I need you to hold him down. After the parasite is removed, he needs to come to Jotunheim. Our healers can monitor his recovery."

    Loki's older sibling comes from Jotunheim to expel a parasite from his body. Discontinued.

    Written for a prompt on the Thor Kinkmeme on LJ: "Odin doesn’t fall into the Odin-sleep when Loki confronts him about being a Jotun, so Loki doesn’t go totally off the rails. BUT, let’s face it, Odin’s not exactly the most comforting guy around, and Loki is still feeling pretty down on this whole 'my life is a lie' thing, so he sneaks off to Midgard to visit Thor, hoping to figure this shit out.

    Thor is sitting around being a mope in that S.H.I.E.L.D. place after not being able to lift his hammer.

    THEN... yeah! Uh. Just want to see Loki in a vulnerable position emotionally at the same time as Thor, I guess. Could be gen too. Hugs all around! Or something."
