“Chishiya…who were you before you came here?”
“No one important.”
Yes, he was evading her question…but he wasn’t lying either.

Summary
Months after returning to the real world, an accident sends Arisu back to the Borderlands to face a new round of death games. No Karube and Chota. No Usagi. No friends at all. This time, Arisu is on his own.
Except perhaps he isn't.
Because one person never left at all.

Summary
"Kuina almost wanted to laugh. It had to be some sort of sick joke. Why couldn't this have happened a few minutes earlier? Why couldn't Chishiya have held on just a little bit longer?
She didn't want to go home without him. She couldn't."
Or; in which Kuina refuses to go home until she can bring Chishiya with her. Unfortunately for her, Chishiya has no interest in being saved.
Or; a timeloop au.

Summary
“God,” Macy mutters, fanning herself with a brochure. “This is how I go. Melted to death under fluorescent lighting next to a gift shop display of Anubis plushies.”
Todd snorts. “Could be worse. You could be in a fucking jumper.” He gestures in front of him, and Macy follows his gaze to where Steven Grant, mild-mannered, if somewhat neurotic, gift-shop clerk and walking encyclopedia of gods you’ve never heard of, is hauling a crate of souvenir scarabs without breaking a sweat. He’s still in his long sleeves. Long sleeves. In this weather.
Steven, oblivious, pushes the crate into place, stands up straight, and scratches the back of his neck. His shirt lifts. Not a lot, just a glimpse. But enough to see a sliver of tanned skin, the line of a hipbone, and—okay, hello—some suspiciously toned obliques.
Todd leans over. “You saw that, right?”
“I saw that.”
“Has he always looked like that?”
“No,” Macy says firmly. “Absolutely not.”
--- OR ---
Steven is ripped, and his coworkers are intrigued.
