Summary
He tells himself that he doesn’t know her nearly as well as he thinks he does, so there’s no need to worry about the annoying, paranoid little voice in his head that keeps telling him that she’s not the kind of person who will just go back to quietly living her life after everything she’s seen and done, and that she could be in danger regardless of what he does or doesn’t do. He tells himself that she doesn’t need him, and he doesn’t need her, and this is all for the best.
