Summary
"How much longer 'till the morning? Are my legs gonna last?"
(Pool - Samia)
Darry continues to push himself in football despite constant warnings from his family, and others. The result of his body finally not being able to take it, only makes everything worse.
"No matter the weather, laps always felt like a chore, and his already aching body didn’t take too kindly to the idea of more activity. Still, with maybe half an hour of practice left, he figured he’d just tough it out; even if the consequence of barely being able to drag himself out of bed would follow tomorrow. Because that's what Darry was known for doing. Pushing himself, forcing himself through everything. That's why he was the best. He had to be the greatest."
