Miyuki’s face would lit after reading one of those texts he used to get during the day. Kuramochi also noticed how, over the time and as the seasons change, the phone started to buzz less and less and Miyuki got more and more gloomy.

after his injury, miyuki is bored out of his fucking mind, not knowing what to do once he’s left alone with his thoughts with no baseball to distract himself. kuramochi suggests journaling but this ends up with him finding himself having more on his plate than he can handle. a complicated tangle of both repressed feelings and new ones.

Summary
When Kuramochi Youichi starts his first day at Seidou, he immediately butts heads with his slippery classmate, Miyuki Kazuya. However, there's something vaguely familiar about the catcher that Kuramochi can't quite put his finger on, though he's certain that they haven't met before. They both have parts of themselves that they keep hidden from the world, but, despite all odds, Kuramochi and Miyuki become close friends. Miyuki didn't seem alarmed, and yawned exaggerately, "Cinderella, it's time to go home."
Instead of taking that as a cue to leave, Kuramochi planted himself next to Miyuki on the couch, and turned off the TV, "Miyuki, what's going on."His voice carried an unweavering tone, but Miyuki didn't seem to be bothered, and just grinned back, "It's getting late."
Kuramochi sighed and took out his phone. He flipped through pages of social media, as he spoke, "Miyuki, what are you doing here? It's league championships right now, you don't seem to be injured, what could bring a superstar catcher all the way here?" Before Miyuki could speak up, Kuramochi looked up at him sharply, "And don't tell me you're here to deliver the present."
Miyuki dropped his chin, and rested it on the cushion in front of him. He spoke as he blinked innocently, "I didn't know I needed a reason to visit friends." -
